About the Event
Sharing the second journey of the 3-part series! Allie will combine exploring Pachaug while discussing prenatal and early childhood topics. As a former project manager in parenting and early childhood programs and now a new parent-to-be herself, Allie will open up topics for new and expectant parents, ranging from maternal health equity to forest bathing.
This walk will begin on the Harvest Moon, the full moon in September. The Harvest Moon has much significance including its connection to abundance and appreciation. The moon will start to rise early, so our walk will start early as well. Gathering at Chapman Field we will make our way through a leveled path back, overlooking the pond and return back. Each person will choose a crystal to have with them through this mindful walk and take home to lay out for the peak of the moon. This is an opportunity to meet new peers and get light exercise!
You do not need to attend all three parts of the series to join this informal gathering. :)
All expecting parents and new parents are welcome to join, nonmembers and members alike. However, for others that do not fit this criteria, these events are open to members only.
