Join Amber and Erica from Friends of Pachaug Forest for a winter walk to learn and see why Winter can be the best time of year to be outside!
Already know what magic the forest holds in winter? Or maybe you’ve wanted to wander outside or thought about heading out, but something held you back? Whatever your experience level, this event is for you! We’re happy to help answer any questions in advance or during the event about enjoying the forest in the winter to help boost your winter exploration confidence.
We will meet at the CCC Camp Lonergan site and decide on our course based on trail and weather conditions. This will be an easy 2-2.5 mile course. The hike will begin at 10 am and end by 12:00 pm. Kids and leashed pets are…
