Eclipse Hike

Here is a chance to witness this unique event from the heart of the forest, surrounded by the natural world. Starting from Chapman Field, we’ll head up Cutoff Trail to Fire Tower Road. Close to the summit of Mt. Misery, in the clearing, we’ll stop to view the eclipse. This hike is approximately 2 ⅓  round trip miles of easy terrain. Viewing glasses and snacks will be provided. You are welcome to observe the eclipse for the full duration or head back at any time.
