Barbecue and Holistic Show and Tell

This January we celebrated a very special anniversary. Yes, it has already been five years since the defeat of the large gun range planned for Pachaug State Forest. With the arrival of warmer weather we thought it would be a good time to have an event of celebration open to all who supported us in our resistance as well as for those who sighed a deep sigh of relief upon the good news.

We will have a barbecue for everybody, some sound healing bowls, and a holistic show and tell. Bobbi Cornelius, a thirty plus year holistic practitioner, will share information about an array of natural products and tools for healing. These will be items that have a history of being very helpful for various conditions. The body recognizes these tools and knows how to use them and how to excrete them in a non toxic way. There should be something for everybody.

The evening will end with a very relaxing guided experience which will afford everyone the opportunity to be reminded of this wonderful anniversary and to join together in sending love, admiration and appreciation to this precious place. Leashed dogs are welcome. The fire should feel cozy, so please join us for food and fun.

Directions to the Youth Camp: enter from Rt 49, proceed to the statue, and then go right. Usually we will be at the first campfire on the right but occasionally we will be at another campfire spot in the immediate area. May 11th at the same time is the backup date in case of cancellation…please check the website for updates in case of bad weather.
