About the Event

We are excited to present a unique 3-part series that will combine exploring Pachaug while discussing prenatal and early childhood topics. Led by Allie, a former project manager in parenting and early childhood programs and now a new parent-to-be herself, will open up topics for new and expectant parents, ranging from maternal health equity to forest bathing. It wouldnt be an event led by Allie, without dropping some fun facts, like about blue herons and storks. This is an opportunity to meet new peers and get light exercise!

The first event will start at the entrance to the Pachaug at Trail 2 from Hopeville Rd in Griswold, CT. We will walk past a goat farm and make our way to Heron pond. All places are great opportunities to snap photos.

As early awareness, the second event will be a Supermoon stroll on 9/17 (location tbd) and the 3rd installment will be a geocaching revisit on October 6th starting from Beachdale pond (time tbd). You do not need to attend all three to be part of this informal gathering. :)

All expecting parents and new parents are welcome to join, nonmembers and members alike. However, for others that do not fit this criteria, these events are open to members only.
