About the Event
We had such a warm response to our campfire event last fall, that we are planning a new campfire event with a theme of appreciation for the Earth in general and Pachaug Forest in particular. This will be a time to gather together, as those who wish to express affectionate memories, a favorite quotation, a story of nature's healing, play a little music, and share some inspiration. We invite all musical instruments, bells, chimes and crystal bowls. Everybody is welcome including children and dogs. It will be near the full moon so we should have good visibility. Seating and snacks will be provided.
It has been a long winter and this will be a time to reconnect in community. It will be a guided experience of expressing what the forest means for those who wish to, then sending thanks out to Pachaug Forest for all she gives to us. We will also send thanks out to the original caregivers of the forest, the First Peoples and Native American nations of this area. We invite anyone who has a musical instrument such as drums, flutes, bells and guitars to bring them along for some spontaneous celebration. We will have multiple crystal healing bowls for anyone who requests a mini sound bath- it is very uplifting for many folks. So come prepared to share a smile, some heart energy and fun! Maybe we will howl at the full moon! Spring is a time to be playful and feel the gratitude of people beginning a new social season. We hope to see you there!
